RCTC students return to classroom Monday for start of new semester

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – The alarm clock is going off a little earlier for students at Rochester Community and Technical College.

A new year of learning officially gets underway Monday at RCTC as close to 7,000 students take classes on the 500-acre campus.

Some of those students may also be learning from home as more than 300 classes are available online.

This is the 111th year of learning at RCTC.

The school opened in 1915 with just 17 students.
