ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – A downtown Rochester hotel worker is facing a felony assault charge related to a March altercation.

According to charging documents, Jarred Clement allegedly placed a firearm on a man’s neck, struck him with it and then forcibly pushed the victim.

According to the criminal complaint, Clement denies possessing a firearm or pointing one at the victim. Clement later admitted to the incident because the victim threatened to kill him.

If convicted, Clement could face three to seven years in prison or a $14,000 fine.

He makes his first appearance in September.
