Decorah High School among top ranked Iowa public schools in latest rankings

(KTTC) – Some northern Iowa communities should be feeling extra proud this week after U.S. News and World Report’s recent ranking of the best high schools in Iowa.

This ranking only included public schools, measuring things such as how many AP-classes the seniors took as well as state test scores.

West High School in Iowa City topped the list for a 5th year.

Top Schools from our region include Decorah High School at #2.

Osage placed at #45, St. Ansgar at #69 and Waukon was not far behind at #71.
