History Center of Olmsted County, Booker Mini Band to host anniversary concert

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – The History Center of Olmsted County will be hosting a concert at the Stoppel Farmstead on Saturday, August 22 at 2 p.m. in celebration of three local anniversaries.

The event will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Rochester-based Booker Mini Band, the 100th anniversary of the Historical Society of Olmsted County, and the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.

The Booker Mini Band will provide live music for the event alongside special guest Brad Boice. Food trucks will also be available on site.

Admission to the event will be free with a $10 suggested donation that will go to the history center. For more information, visit their website at olmstedhistory.com.
