Melanie is originally from Pickett, Wis. She started part-time at WEAU in September 2022 as a reporter and came on full-time in February 2023.
She attended UW-Eau Claire and received a Bachelor of Art in Journalism and Multimedia Communications. While at UW-Eau Claire, Melanie was a staff writer and photographer for the student newspaper, The Spectator.
Melanie loves meeting new people in the community and sharing their stories. If she's not busy reporting, you can likely find her hanging out with friends and family or enjoying some ice cream from Ramone's.
