Brock Bergey

Brock Bergey is excited to be delivering news for the station he grew up watching.

He joined KTTC in September 2023 as a weeknight anchor. Brock is no stranger to the news desk, having worked at stations on the other side of the Mississippi in La Crosse, Madison and Wausau. He’s received honors from the Associated Press and Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.

Brock grew up on his family’s farm outside of Canton and graduated from Mabel-Canton High School. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, majoring in communications. Following a 10-year stint in local television news, Brock decided to pursue a career in public relations. He worked as a spokesperson for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. He later served as WisDOT’s first digital media manager.

In late 2016, Brock returned to the Gopher State to assist on the family farm. In addition, he worked in administrative roles for the cities of Mabel and Canton. Most recently, Brock was a substitute Pre-K through 12th grade teacher in area school districts.

Brock’s decision to return to local news was driven by his curious nature and passion for storytelling. He’s especially eager to help grow KTTC’s digital platforms.

When he’s not at KTTC, Brock continues to help out on the family farm, where he has many special animal friends. He’s also a dog dad to Linkoln, a rescued Boston Terrier.
