ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – I-90 west of Interstate 35 at Albert Lea is set to close at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon after being reopened for a short period of time.

I-90 reopened late Friday morning around 11 a.m. after being closed at 7 p.m. Thursday night.

MnDOT is advising no travel through the area after 2 p.m.

The closure continues on I-90 to the South Dakota border.

The interstate will close again due to blowing snow and poor visibility.
