UPDATE: Name released in fatal Wabasha County crash
UPDATE: Minnesota State Patrol released the name of the fatality from the two vehicle crash that happened Tuesday in Wabasha County.
53-year-old Sheila Harel of Chippewa Falls, WI was killed after her vehicle collided with another at the intersection of Highway 61 and Highway 42 just outside of Kellogg.
The incident report states that Harel and the other driver both had their seatbelts on.
WABASHA COUNTY, Minn. (KTTC) – The Minnesota State Patrol has released the name of the Wisconsin woman who died in a crash in Wabasha County.
It happened around 11:50 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Highway 61 and Highway 42 outside of Kellogg.
Troopers said a 21-year-old Lake City woman was driving south on Highway 61 and Sheila Harel, 53, of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, was traveling east on Highway 42 when the two collided.
Both were taken to Gundersen St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Wabasha. Harel died, the 21 year old sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The Wabasha Police Department, Wabasha Ambulance, and Wabasha Fire assisted on scene.
