Quiet and warmer weather ahead
ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) –
Slightly warmer and quiet conditions are expected this weekend. Highs Saturday will warm into the upper 30s and lower 40s with partly sunny skies. A weak disturbance will move across the upper Midwest late tomorrow morning and early afternoon. Isolated sprinkles and light rain could develop as this disturbance moves through the region. Little to no accumulations are expected. Skies will clear out Saturday night leading to sunny skies on Sunday. Winds will be out of the NW keeping afternoon highs in the middle 30s Sunday.
Well-above-average temperatures are expected next week for the first few days of December. Highs will range from the lower to upper 40s Monday through Friday next week.
With the warmer temperatures expected next week, it will limit our chances of snowfall in the near future. It has been very quiet on the snowfall front so far this season. In 2020, we had already seen 8.6″ of snowfall by the end of November. This year has been completely different. RST has only received 0.6″ of snow this season.
Dry and quiet conditions will continue through next Friday. Have a great weekend!
