Shoppers hit the stores in Rochester for Black Friday
ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Some store lines were busy in the early morning hours of Black Friday, but they were definitely not as busy as a decade ago.
As many celebrate Thanksgiving, many are also looking to get big deals on Black Friday. According to RetailMeNot consumers plan to spend 15% more than they did last year on holiday shopping, and for many that starts on Black Friday.
KTTC was out at Best Buy and Target Friday morning.
People were out to get electronics, home items, toys and more.
“Headphones all kind of other Christmas stuff,” shopper Travis Bruggeman from Rose Creek said. He said he was out shopping with his brother Friday because his brother has never experienced Black Friday shopping.
A woman named Natasha from Rochester was out shopping, and she got an Instant Pot. When we asked her why she chose to shop in-store instead of online she said she said she was looking for a video game system.
“My boyfriend tried to get a gaming system but didn’t have any luck,” she said.
