ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – A small popup Christmas market took place at Rochester’s Workshop Food Hall and Bar Sunday. The goal of the market was to encourage people to shop small and local this holiday season, by exposing them to multiple local vendors and their products.

Eight of the nine vendors at the market are based out of Rochester, with one coming from Wisconsin. Among many other items that were sold, clothing, skincare products and handmade jewelry were some of the biggest draws.

“It’s really kind of your one-stop shop for holiday shopping this season,” said organizer Lindsy Funk.

This is the third year of the market, though last year it was virtual. The year prior, the products were limited to beauty counter.

“It’s a little extra special to find that unique gift for someone you love of for family and friends that is handmade, or is like a little more unique, that you can only find from those local artists or entrepreneurs or vendors and businesses,” said Funk.
