OLMSTED COUNTY, Minn. (KTTC) – An Eyota man is in custody after being wanted on a federal felony warrant.

Deputies arrested James Johnson, Jr., 42, at the Olmsted County Government Center around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Authorities recognized the car he was driving and performed a high-risk stop on him.

According to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Johnson Jr. was originally wanted for a probation violation on a stolen handgun possession charge.

He also has previous drug arrests in Olmsted County.
