High pressure continues to provide our region with some pleasant weather today including bright sunshine and low humidity levels in the air. High temperatures later today will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s with a slight southerly breeze. A storm system and its associated warm front from the west may trigger an isolated thunderstorm or two late in the day or this evening for our western counties, otherwise we'll see better chances sneak in late tonight through parts of our Thursday. Humidity will become noticeably heavier tomorrow and Friday, fueling more of those thunderstorm chances. We'll have off and on thunderstorm chances through the weekend as well with high temperatures near 90 degrees, so a prolonged stretch of warm, summery weather lies ahead through the next week.
