MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Playing in his final regular season game at Mariucci Arena, Justin Bostrom had a goal and an assist as Minnesota overcame a rally by Minnesota Duluth in a crucial 5-3 win.

The Golden Gophers (14-11-7, 11-10-5 WCHA) are fighting for the WCHA's last home ice spot in the upcoming league playoffs.

They led 2-0, then trailed 3-2 before scoring the game's final three goals.

MacGregor Sharp provided all the offense for the Bulldogs (16-10-8, 10-9-7) with his first career hat trick.

With two regular-season games left, the Gophers and Bulldogs are tied for the fifth and final home ice slot in the WCHA playoffs. Minnesota holds the tiebreaker because it has a 1-0-1 record versus the Bulldogs.
