ROCHESTER, MN (FOX 47) -- Two late-morning blazes kept area fire departments busy.

The Rochester Fire Department was dispatched to IBM building 681 in Rochester after a fire broke out just before Noon Friday.

The building is located near the Hy-Vee North on 37th Street Northwest.

Fire department officials say they were called after drivers noticed flames shooting out near the front door.

There were no people inside the building at the time.

The fire originated in an overhead heater in the lobby area.

Damage estimates are not yet available.

Around that same time, billows of smoke in rural Mazeppa could be seen from miles away.

Fire officials arrived to the scene of a house fire just before Noon.

They say the home is a total loss.

No one was injured in the blaze.
