Blizzard forces road closures in Minnesota, North Dakota

MINNESOTA/NORTH DAKOTA (FOX 47) -- A no-travel warning remains in effect in eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota because of the blizzard that's pushing through.

In the Fargo-Moorhead area, visibility is zero in some places.

Most churches and businesses have closed for the day.

North Dakota could be left to shovel out of 16 inches of snow.

In preparation, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has closed several roads.

If you plan on traveling, note that Interstate 94 is shut down between Moorhead and Fergus Falls.

Highway 10 is also closed between Moorhead and Detroit Lakes, and Highway 210 between Breckenridge and Fergus Falls.

As the storm moves through, MnDOT might extend these road closures.

Remember, it is illegal to drive on roads that have been closed.

Blizzard Warnings are in effect for parts of west-central Minnesota and Duluth, so check road conditions if you must travel in that direction.
