Three arrested after found burning human remains

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (FOX 47) -- Three people are arrested in Minnesota after cops catch them burning human remains.

Thursday, 46-year-old Edwin Haynes was reported missing by his roommate.

Police believe the man's brother, sister and friend killed him over an inheritance dispute.

The three suspects were arrested on suspicion of second degree murder Friday after cops found them burning a human torso.

Paul Sommer, with the Anoka County Sheriff's Department, says "I'm told there was dispute over an inheritance from a relative."

The remains have yet to be identified, but police have reason to believe they are those of Edwin Haynes.
