Coleman campigns in Southern Minnesota

WINONA, MN (KTTC-TV) -- With fewer than three weeks until the election, Senator Norm Coleman hit the campaign trail right here in Southeastern Minnesota.

Coleman met with voters in Winona earlier this morning to hear their concerns and share with them what he calls his vision of hope.

He recently pulled all of his negative campaign ads and said he did so because last week he saw a level of fear and anxiety in this state that he has not seen in his lifetime.

Coleman says, "What we're doing is going to go positive. Tell people this is what you do to stabalize the economy, here's what we're going to do to get energy independence, here's what we're going to do to get healthcare for everybody without a government bureaucrat. I think that's the kind of positive vision Minnesotans want."

Coleman's last stop of the day was here in Rochester to watch the last presidential debate at the Ramada Inn.
