Another Shooting in Northeast Rochester

ROCHESTER, MN (KTTC-TV) -- A northeast Rochester neighborhood is on alert again as shots ring out early Monday morning.

Police responded to the second shooting in Northeast Rochester in just over two weeks.

Neighbors told police and the NewsCenter that around 5 o'clock Monday morning, three shots were fired in the neighborhood of 11th Avenue and 4th Street Northeast.

One bullet struck a home which police say was occupied at the time.

Two shell casings were found on the ground.

There were no injuries.

Residents we spoke with say they are tired of guns on their street.

On Friday, August 15th, several shots were fired just one block away at 11th Avenue and 5th street Northeast.

So far, police have no suspects and are not saying if it could be gang related.
