Randy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Metropolitan State College of Denver and is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society. He has been with KTTC since 2002 and worked previously as a Meteorologist in Amarillo, Texas.

Randy is a native Minnesotan, from Litchfield, and enjoys spending time with his family and getting outdoors. In any season, he can be found fishing southeast Minnesota's trout streams with a fly rod, even the dead of winter.
