Video game sale in Austin park turns into robbery

AUSTIN, Minn. (KTTC) -

Police are investigating after reports of a robbery in an Austin park.

According to Austin police, a 19 year old victim reported a robbery at 5:06 p.m. Wednesday in Bandshell Park. The victim told police they were selling an Xbox, Playstation 4, controllers, and video games to a person who agreed to meet in the park.

One of the two people the victim met with offered an i-Phone for the items. When the victim refused that deal, the suspects stole the bag of video games and ran away.

The suspect who grabbed the bag from the victim is described as a thin, black male with short hair, jeans and a blue striped shirt in his early twenties. The other suspect is described as a thin black male with long, messy hair and also in his early twenties.

The case is still under investigation.
