NEAR ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -

Deputies on the scene of an accident early Friday morning said it appeared the sedan had flipped, but those inside the car at the time told authorities they couldn't remember what happened.

The driver of the 2004 Nissan Maxima left the road while heading east on 48th Street Northeast, losing control when the pavement gave way to gravel.
It was about 5:45 in the morning.

The apparent roll-over left a 16-year-old passenger with a broken wrist as well as cuts and bruises.

20-year-old Gredyn Hatton-Kirkpatrick was behind the wheel. Now, he's behind bars.

He's facing a 4th degree DWI charge in addition to criminal vehicular operation causing bodily harm.

A blood test is pending. Hatton-Kirkpatrick was scheduled to be in court today.
