Plant and flower sale opens today

Posted:
ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -

Even the pickiest of gardener finds something to love at this Rochester staple, now entering its 79th year.

The Plant Sale features more than 150 varieties, most of which are donated by club members.

The proceeds go back to the club. They work on at least a dozen projects each year, like maintaining the gardens at Soldier Field, the History Center, the Olmsted County Fairgrounds, and the YMCA.

The sale runs today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Horticulture building in the Olmsted County Fairgrounds, and then again on Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon.
