SocialICE set to bring crowds to downtown Rochester

Posted:
ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -

The 10th year of SocialICE kicks off at 4 p.m. Thursday on the Peace Plaza.

The three-day festival will feature nine uniquely themed ice bars, each serving specialty drinks.

Some of the themes this year include Game of Thrones, Taco Truck, Dr. Seuss, and Back to the Future.

New this year, larger-than-life ice letters spelling out SocialICE that'll make the perfect picture.

The free event is put on by the Rochester Downtown Alliance.

It runs Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
