UPDATE: Names released in crash on Highway 52 near Oronoco

NEAR ORONOCO, Minn. (KTTC) -

UPDATE: Minnesota State Patrol release the names of the people involved in a crash near Oronoco.

According to the State Patrol, the driver of the car was 33-year-old Jordan Grenell, of Rochester. Also in the car was a baby boy. MSP did not release how old the child was.

The driver of the semi was 38-year-old Michael Gordey, of Cloquet.

State Patrol says Grenell and the child were taken to Mayo Clinic - Saint Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

PREVIOUS STORY: A crash involving a car and a semi truck has sent two people to Mayo Clinic - Saint Marys Hospital.

According to the State Patrol, the driver of the car was southbound on Highway 52 near Oronoco and hit the back of the semi. The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. Monday.

The driver and passenger of the car were transported to Mayo Clinic - Saint Marys. Mayo One airlifted the driver. An infant passenger was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance. The State Patrol says injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. 

The driver of the semi was not hurt.
