ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -

Hundreds gathered today for the 4th annual Concert of Carols today at the Congregational Church of Rochester, to help out a good cause.

Admission was all to support the Channel One Regional Food Bank.

Attendees either donated money or a non-perishable food item.

The people gathered there got a chance to enjoy brass and bell renditions of their favorite Christmas songs.

The brass compositions were put together by Med City Brass, and included all the classics, some with a contemporary twist.

But the importance was all on the donations for a cause near and dear to them.

"Well this time of year especially I think that there's a lot of people that have needs in the community in Olmsted county and so Channel One is put upon to really produce a lot of food for people," Karmen Gusa, organizer and conductor for the bells, said.

By the time the event wrapped up the donation bin for food was overflowing so event organizers say that definitely counts as a success.
