Aaron Meyer has stepped down as the Head Football Coach at Stewartville after 11-years.
Meyer went 67-42 over his time which saw two of his football teams make it to the State Semifinals in 2014 and 2015. This past season the Tigers finished 5-4.
Meyer told NewsCenter Sports Director Pat Lund by telephone Wednesday afternoon that he had a pretty good feeling headed into this season that this would be his last. A lot of factors went into his decision, family being one of them.
Meyer took over a struggling program and turned into a perennial winner with several great teams over his 11-years.
