There are several counties in southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa that are under Flash Flood Watches and Warnings.

Click here for all Watches and Warnings issued in our area.

It's a watery mess for people all over our viewing area after a second night of rain. The area has seen a wide range of totals from 3 to 9 inches of rain overnight.

In Iowa, the Mason City Police Department is working to evacuate residents from the Chelsea Apartments and the Autumn Park Apartments due to flooding. An emergency shelter is set up in Mason City at the Salvation Army located at 724 Village Green Drive.

The City of Albert Lea is asking residents to limit water usage until further notice to avoid basement backups.

Drivers should take extra precaution where water might be covering the roadways. Check road conditions in Minnesota here and in Iowa here.

There are some schools affected by the rain. Check closings and cancellations here.
