Behind the Scenes: The KTTC Precision Weather Center

Our KTTC meteorologists visit schools, businesses, and other groups in the community to talk about what they do on a day-to-day basis.

Justin McKee visited the southern Minnesota chapter of APICS on Monday, February 8, and created a video showing off what how the weather team does the weather every day.

For anyone wondering how Randy, Ted, and Justin predict the weather, here's a behind the scenes look at the KTTC Precision Weather Center:

     A Brooklyn Park couple is charged with murder in connection with death of a gravely malnourished foster child. The Star Tribune reports 33-year-old Sherrie Dirk and 31-year-old Bryce Dirk were indicted late Thursday on charges of first- and second-degree murder.

    Health investigators are hunting for a source of two cases of Legionnaires' disease at a care facility in Albert Lea. Two residents at St. John's Fountain Lake complex have been hospitalized after showing symptoms of Legionnaires' disease.  The first began in early June and the second resident started showing signs of the disease this past Thursday, according to the Minnesota Dept. of Health.
