The search continues for a missing 21-year-old William Hempy

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Police are still looking for a 21-year-old man reported missing by his parents on Thursday. No one has heard from him since Wednesday.

William Harrison Hempy, 21, of Rochester is attending the University of Illinois, and is expected to graduate in 6 weeks. But said they are exploring all possibilities into his disappearance.
According to Capt. John Sherwin of the Rochester Police Department, Hempy contacted his father around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday during a run. He spoke to his dad about canceling an appointment. Hempy never came home that night, and no one has heard from him since.

Police said his phone has been off since Wednesday, and Hempy has not accessed his bank account. Sherwin said, they will be searching the north part of Rochester for any signs of his whereabouts.
"At this time we're looking at all possibilities for his disappearance although I can say that there's nothing that indicates anything criminal has occurred," said Sherwin.

Hempy purchased a round trip train ticket from Illinois for Spring break, and was supposed to return to school Sunday.

If you see anyone who matches his description police ask that you contact law enforcement.
