Two injured in head-on crash on Highway 61

NEAR RED WING, Minn. (KTTC) -- Two people were hurt in a head-on crash in Goodhue County on Wednesday.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports it happened on Highway 61 between Red Wing and Frontenac just after 4:30 p.m. A Honda Civic driving north hit a southbound Nissan Altima head-on.

52-year-old Kevin Bolduan from Winona was in the Altima. He was taken to Mayo Health Services in Red Wing with non life-threatening injuries. His passenger, 30-year-old Christopher Bouldan of Winona did not have any injuries.

The driver of the Civic, 59-year-old Mahmoud Shaker also suffered non life-threatening injuries.
