Thanksgiving on the grill: Caramel apple cheesecake

Rich and creamy cheesecake topped with caramel apple topping


1 10-inch spring form pan
3# cream cheese at room temp
2 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
4 egg yolks
5 whole eggs
3/4 cup sour cream
1 tbs vanilla

3 cups graham cracker crumbs
4 tbs butter melted. Combine and form on bottom of spring form pan

Beat cheese and sour cream with a paddle on medium until smooth
Mix sugar and flour together and add to the cheese mixture
Continue to beat to smooth.
Add yolks and whole eggs one at a time to incorporate
Pour into 10” crusts in spring form pans
Bake @ 300 degrees for 45 mins or until middle of cake is set
Cut around the edges to loosen the cheesecake & Cool

Apple Topping

6 apples peeled, cored & cut into wedges
3 tbs butter melted
1 cup sugar
1tbs cinnamon
1tsp salt

  • In skillet with melted butter add sugar and cinnamon and cook until dissolved
  • Add apples and cook until tender
  • Allow to cool and pour over cheesecake
