Associated Bank announces new branch in Rochester

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Associated Bank is announcing a new branch coming to Rochester.

A groundbreaking was held Wednesday morning on the 1900 block of Commerce Drive Northwest.

The Associated Bank location inside Hy-Vee North on 37th Street closed in July, and the operation there will move to the new branch location.  

Associated Bank said the 3,000 square foot location is expected to be open for business in January.

During construction, Associated customers can visit the two downtown locations and the branch near Apache Mall.

    With the incredibly wet weather we've had to deal with for the past week and a half, the Mississippi River is on the rise.  In Winona, the river reached flood stage Tuesday morning and was observed at 13.3 feet as of Tuesday afternoon. The river is forecast to crest at 13.8 feet by Wednesday, its highest since July, 2014 when the river hit 15.5 feet.  Minor flooding is noticeable at Levee Park and Prairie Island Park.
