UPDATE: Crane worker injured near Grand Meadow released from hospital

GRAND MEADOW, Minn. (KTTC) -- A worker for a Wisconsin crane rental company who was injured in an accident near Grand Meadow has been released from the hospital.

Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental general manager Steve Freckmann said the worker was released on Saturday, is doing well, and is on his way home to Wisconsin.

The accident happened Friday morning at a wind turbine near Grand Meadow. The worker was taken to the hospital by Mayo One.

Freckmann said he is not sure when the man will be able to return to work.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
