$5,000 reward for information leading to arrest of Gregory Ahlers

BYRON, Minn. (KTTC) --  As the search continues for fugitive Gregory Ahlers, a reward is offered for information leading to his arrest.

U.S. Fugitive Recovery & Extradition is offering a $5,000 reward reward to help bring him into custody. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is being asked to call an anonymous tip line.

The search for Ahlers intensified this week when Olmsted County Sheriff's deputies searched a home in Byron Monday night after receiving a tip that Ahlers might have been there.

Law enforcement has been on the lookout for the 48-year-old for more than two months now. On Monday, they searched a home on the corner of Fourth Street Northeast and First Avenue Northeast in Byron after a tip that Ahlers might have been there. Deputies said they believe the tip was a case of mistaken identification.

Gregory Ahlers is still at large and is wanted on two felony fleeing warrants in Olmsted County and one gross misdemeanor warrant in Wabasha.
