BROWNSDALE, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Mower County Sheriff's Office raided a home in Brownsdale on Saturday, discovering vast amounts of stolen property and more.
Deputies were tipped off by the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office in Iowa.  Authorities caught a car on a trail camera that was present at a burglary and registered to Shane Rose of Brownsdale. When authorities searched the car and home at 105 Cedar Street Northwest, they say they found a staggering amount of stolen property.

The Mower County Sheriff's Office said that there were cars, RV's, and sheds full of stolen power tools.  Many of the tools are top of the line brands and marked with people's initials.  In addition, methamphetamine was found.

"The shed is just stocked full of stolen power tools, stolen automotive tools, impact wrenches, air nailers, air tools, I mean it's just incredible the amount of property that is stuffed in the shed," said Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi.

The criminal complaint states a man named Sam Ramirez was at the shed where the stolen property was found and was questioned by deputies. He told deputies he had been living on the property since he was evicted. So far, Ramirez has not been charged in the case.

The Mower County Sheriff's Office said the home may have been a fence location to swap stolen goods for drugs

"We watched blatantly out in the open drug deals going on for the whole time they have been here," said neighbor Gerald Mosier. "My wife has photographs of drug deals going on in the open."

Three people were arrested and in court Tuesday morning in connection with the raid.  Shane Rose is charged with four counts of possession of a firearm.  John Dehoff of Rochester is charged with third-degree drug possession of three grams or more.  According to the criminal complaint he was found with a mixture containing cocaine, heroin, or methamphetamine.  Troy Leeper of Austin is also charged with fifth-degree drug possession as well as felon in possession of a firearm.

Rose is scheduled to appear next in court on August 7th.

No one has been charged in connection with the stolen property.

"We have to determine where the burglaries occurred and who the property belonged to as far as we will definitely get the possession of stolen property, but who gets charged with that remains to be seen," said Amazi.

Sheriff Amazi said to call your local law enforcement if you think that some of the stolen property may be yours.
