Rochester child seriously hurt in crash

DULUTH, Minn. (KTTC) --  A Rochester child was one of seven people injured in a rollover crash in Pine County.

The accident happened about 9 p.m. Monday on northbound Interstate 35 about 50 miles south of Duluth. The Minnesota State Patrol says a 40-year-old Rochester woman was driving an SUV when she swerved off the road and rolled.

Tyrell McDonald, 4, of Rochester, Gabrielle Streeter, 3, of Red Wing, and Tiffany Dickerson, 25, of Red Wing, each suffered serious injuries. The two children were transported by helicopter to Children's Hospital in St. Paul.

The four other people involved suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

No word on the cause of the crash.
