WINONA, Minn. (KTTC) -- With the recent heavy rains, the Mississippi River continues to rise. The Mississippi River at Winona is considered in minor flood stage with a depth of 13.5 feet as of Monday afternoon.

The river is expected to rise to over 14 feet through the end of the weekend. Moderate flood stage at Winona is 15 feet.  

The river is about a foot over flood stage in Wabasha which is also experiencing some minor flooding.  

In St. Paul, the river is threatening neighborhoods after rising more than three feet above flood stage.
