Posted:

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Rochester man was arrested for allegedly running from and then fighting an officer.

Rochester police said Lazaro Martino, 57, faces several charges including domestic assault and fleeing officers on foot.

Officers responded to the 400 block of Ninth Avenue Southeast about 12:30 a.m. Friday following reports of a domestic situation between a man and woman.

When officers arrived, police said Martino took off running toward Bear Creek. When an officer caught up to him, Martino allegedly fought back.

An officer used a taser to subdue and arrest Martino.
