Police raid Rochester homes in drug sting, two arrested

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Two people are behind bars after narcotics officers searched several homes in Rochester Friday morning.

About 8 a.m., police kicked in the door at a home on Savannah Drive NW near 47th Avenue NW, bringing with them the k-9 unit.  Nearly a dozen undercover narcotics officers began searching the home.

At the same time, officers cased a home on 13th avenue southeast and executed another search warrant at a home on Park Lane Southeast in the Parkside Mobile Home Park.

Captain Brian Howard of the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office says so far two people have been arrested.
