Rochester residents provide input for DMC development plan

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Rochester residents with ideas for the DMC development plan met with planners in a public input session Thursday evening.
They met in small groups to address ideas to meet some of the specific goals in the DMC plan, including creating a livable community.

Planners say they will use ideas from these sessions as they build the development plan.

"This is more information gathering," said Evan Corey, a transportation planner. "So we want to know exactly what the challenges are. Like I said, there is a lot of knowledge in these rooms, so we want to tap into that."
There will be an open house for anyone who wants to learn more about the planning process on July 10th.
