2 arrested in connection with assault in southeast Rochester

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Two arrests were made in an assault that Rochester police said stemmed from a drug deal gone bad. 

William Michael Wilson, 49, and Robert Allen Ferguson, 37, were taken into custody.

A third person detained was released.

A 33-year-old man said the men beat him up at a house on the 4200 block of 28th Street
Southeast.

Police said the victim knew the two men and owed them money

In a search of the suspect's home Tuesday morning, a gun and a rifle were found.

Some dogs were also taken from the home and placed temporarily in a shelter.
