Rochester man arrested after deputies find meth in home

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Rochester man was arrested after deputies say they found methamphetamine in his home.

According to the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, David Lennis, 31, of Rochester, was taken into custody after deputies obtained a search warrant and found just under a gram of methamphetamine in his home at 1537 6th Ave. S.E.

Two people were home at the time of the search, according to the report. Deputies stopped Lennis in his car, and arrested him.

Lennis is facing a charge of second-degree sales of a controlled substance.

The Rochester Kennel Club agility trials wrapped up Monday morning at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds.The annual event was held all weekend long featuring dogs and their owners from all over the country.
