Enhancing Your Home's Curb Appeal

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW)  Improving your home's curb appeal is a smart investment according to Angie's List.  That change, they say, can help reduce energy bills and increase your home's value.

It's one of the first things people notice when they approach your home.  If the door is drafty or not opening properly, it's time to make some improvements.

Pay particular attention to installation if you decide to replace your door.  Everything comes our when you do - door jambs and the threshold for example.  So, you have to make sure the door is hung and framed correctly.  If not, you'll see air leakage leading to higher heating and cooling bills.
