Deputies led on high-speed chase in Stewartville

STEWARTVILLE, Minn. (KTTC) -- Olmsted County Sheriff's deputies were led on a high-speed chase after being called to Bonner Elementary School in Stewartville.

Deputies responded to a procedural call just before 3:20 p.m. Thursday and began to follow a suspicious woman who came out of the school and got onto a man's motorcycle.

When the man realized they were being followed, the sheriff's office said he took off.

At one point, the woman was able to get off the bike. Deputies followed the rider through Stewartville, but called off the chase once the man got onto Highway 63 to prevent any public danger.
