Police: Rochester man arrested after threatening nurse in ER

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Rochester police were called to Mayo Clinic Hospital - Saint Marys Campus after a nurse was threatened in the emergency room.

Lt. Casey Moilanen said William Mayor, 23, was a patient in the emergency room Tuesday just before 9 p.m.

Officers were called when Mayor allegedly threatened to kill a 57-year-old nurse and his children. Moilanen said the nurse
called police, and before officers arrived, Mayor spit in a 40-year-old female nurse's face.

Mayor was taken to the Adult Detention Center and is facing multiple charges including terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.
