Police: Foot chase in Rochester ends with canine biting suspect

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) --  Rochester police said a domestic situation turned into a foot chase that ended with a police canine biting the suspect.

Capt. John Sherwin said officers got a call to the 900 block of  37th Street Northwest about 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Sherwin said Muhammad Bush, 23, was leading police on a foot chase after a domestic call.

According to a police report, Bush finally stopped when the K-9 bit him in the thigh.

Sherwin said Bush's injury was mild and after going to the hospital he was discharged to go to jail.
