ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A sign of spring Thursday morning as the Rochester Regional Stadium Bubble came down at RCTC.
By 10 a.m. Thursday, the dome was deflated and laying on the stadium turf. RCTC staff members are taking the bubble apart with the help of Olmsted County Sentenced to Service inmates.
The dome comes down every year about this time, after serving as a place for sports games and practices all winter long.
The bubble was funded by RCTC and the City of Rochester. It is the 5th largest in the state of Minnesota and holds more than a thousand people.
