NEILLSVILLE, Wis. (WXOW) - Charges are filed against a Black River Falls man who is accused of supplying a drug that lead to another man's overdose death.

In January 2013, William Wilkinson-Hurst was found dead sitting slumped over on his bed.  An autopsy showed he died from an overdose of fentanyl.  The drug is a narcotic used as a painkiller.  Fentanyl is linked to many overdose deaths.

A charge of Party to the Crime of Reckless Homicide was filed against Richard Madsen, from Black River Falls, and Jessica Scoville, from Fairchild.  They're accused of providing Wilkinson-Hurst with the fentanyl.
