PINE ISLAND, Minn. (KTTC) -- Some Goodhue County residents were forced to get dressed for work in the dark Thursday morning due to a widespread power outage.
According to Xcel Energy, nearly 2,000 customers were without power for an hour and 15 minutes.
The power went out at 6:08 a.m. due to the failure of an old cable that had worn out.
The outage affected customers in Pine Island, West Concord and Zumbrota. Power was restored to those customers just before 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
